Oregon State Building and Construction Trades Council now on Facebook
The Oregon State Building and Construction Trades Council now has a Facebook page.  The page is designed to keep members, elected officials, and the general public aware of issues and events the Building Trades are involved in.  In order for the page to be effective, it needs as many subscribers (“likes”) as possible. Stewards - Please contact the union hall if you need steward's reports.
Make every effort to send in one report per month. Check each member's dues receipt. Thank you for your cooperation in this important matter.
Membership meetings are the 1st Thursday of each month at 7:00pm. E-board meets at 5:30. 
Members remember to maintain accruate records of your employers for unemployment insurance purposes. Also, retain checkstubs for each weekly paycheck.  If questions arise regarding benefit payments, this information is very useful.

The phone bank is currently in use and successful. If you would like your name added, please contact the union hall.

Union dues and pin amounts have not changed they are still $40.90 for journeymen and $39.90 for apprentices.. Please write your membership number on your payment.

Please make sure the Union Hall has current information for you so that you may receive phone calls during dispatch hours and any correspondence from the Union.

The next retiree’s luncheon will be held at Local 29 on Sept 10, 2014.  Luncheons are held on the second Wednesday of every odd numbered month. Please R.S.V.P. the Union Hall at 503-774-0777.


A reminder to all members when traveling outside Local #29's jurisdiction, contact the local union in whose jurisdiction you want to work. Also, thedues window closes at 4:30pm for cash payments.  This policy allows the cash drawer to be balanced.  Payments by check are accepted until 5:00pm. In addition, if you change your address please notify this office.
